Maximum Cornering Traction

Conceived by Bridgestone's MotoGP engineers, the 5LC technology in 5 layers for rear tyres combines 3 distinct rubber compounds. A hard rubber in the central part of the tread increases the tyre's lifespan and makes it more stable. A medium rubber ensures sensational traction on the shoulders. A high-grip compound on the outside guarantees extreme grip in curves. The 5LC technology innovates for maximum driving pleasure.

Improved Handling DBC

The Battlax BT-012SS rear tyres adopt an innovative dual belt concept: each shoulder features a belt that complements the single spiral belt design. While the central part of the tread provides increased straight-line stability through its flexibility, the dual belt design ensures grip in curves, as well as flawless handling and unparalleled shock absorption.

MS-BELT (Less Heat Build-up and More Stability)

Bridgestone's single-spiral belt construction consists of a single aramid strip covering the entire perimeter of the tyre, offering the dual benefit of eliminating overlapping plies, welds, and joint connections to achieve greater lightness than a cross-belt design. Equipping all Battlax rear tyres, it provides enhanced stability and greater shock absorption efficiency due to the significant reduction in heat generation during tyre rotation.
