The Michelin Pilot Road 4 scooter tyre, designed for all-season use, is renowned for its excellent grip on low-temperature and wet roads, and its short braking distance for increased safety. Made to meet the needs of owners of powerful heavy scooters and large scooters, it features a dual-compound rubber made of a mix of silica and polymer (Michelin 2CT technology), and a rigid radial carcass made of polyester. It also has a 0° aramid belt that is as strong as steel, but weighs 5 times less. The XST technology is optimised here, and the chamfered feature ensures the tyre's performance stability throughout its lifespan.
