The Michelin Power GP tyre offers an increased level of performance for sporty driving, especially on the track, a step up from the Power 5. As its name suggests, the new Michelin Power GP allows for track driving, but that is not its primary purpose and it is mostly for occasional use. Its profile with "sheet" shoulders (the tyre edges) is well suited to the track, with more pronounced angular grip. It is approved for road use and easily adapts to a day on the track or a driving course, but it cannot be used for competition. Owners of sports cars or similar machines will therefore appreciate its performance level (road and track) on dry surfaces, especially thanks to a less significant grooved surface than the Power 5.
An innovative rubber compound made of silica and carbon black.
A MICHELIN 2CT compound at the front and MICHELIN 2CT+ at the rear for unmatched performance, on the road as well as on the track.
"Slick" zones in sheets on the sides allowing for track use.
A grooving rate of 6.5%.
Sides equipped with the "Premium Touch Technology"
