Optimised tread pattern
The tread of the ContiWinterContact winter tyre has three grooves, or four for widths equal to or greater than 225mm. On wet roads, these provide it with much better grip by more efficiently evacuating excess water on the road surface, reducing the likelihood of aquaplaning.
Tread groove gap
To prevent the sipes from closing when touching the ground, the space between them has been increased to enhance the snowplow effect by approximately 20%, which immediately results in improved traction and lateral control on snowy roads.
Tread Wear Indicator (TWI)
You know your tire is worn when the tread is only 4mm deep. To accurately identify this moment, the ContiWinterContact TS810 has wear indicators that inform about the quality of the rubber.
