The Roadtec 01 SE from Metzeler, a sport touring tyre, is inspired by the Roadtec 01 and offers enhanced performance, especially on wet surfaces. This is made possible by a new design of transverse grooves, in the shape of a saber and a drop, which ensure better grip on low-traction surfaces. The mileage is increased, and the sporty characteristics are more pronounced, particularly in terms of agility. The smoother shoulders (with a higher full/void ratio) optimize cornering and road handling. The balance is enhanced by a fine and homogeneous silica rubber compound.
