Excellent road tyre for tenere

Tyre choice was that of the predecessor. Need to gather practical experience first.

Tyre with great mileage so far 6,000 km - tread still in good condition (maybe another 2,000 km)

Everything is okay but the tyre is already over a year old.

The Michelin Anakee Road performs very well on the Suzuki DL-1000 V-Strom. Stable at high speeds. No tendency to shimmy at low speeds. Completely insensitive to longitudinal grooves, tar strips, road repairs, longitudinal ruts. Easy to steer. Stable cornering behaviour, inspires a lot of confidence. Cannot comment on longevity after one long weekend in Sauerland.

Overall, a good tire, good grip on most road surfaces. After 5000 km, the tire was slightly over the limit across the entire tread/width. The tire gives a somewhat strange feedback, especially noticeable with a half-worn tread one notices a partially very spongy, sliding feedback. the tire definitely does not slip, the irritating feedback might be due to the very soft tread construction.
