Developed to meet the specific needs of electric vehicles, the Falken E.Ziex helps to increase range while limiting energy consumption. It combines very low rolling resistance with good wet-road performance, while incorporating several solutions designed to reduce noise.
Its composition includes up to 29% sustainable and recycled raw materials, thereby helping to reduce CO2 emissions.
- Optimised tread block edges: all the blocks in the pattern feature inclined edges. This configuration avoids pressure peaks and promotes a gradual, even distribution of pressure. The result: better grip on both dry and wet surfaces, shorter braking distances and more even wear, for increased longevity.
- Tread pattern designed for load reduction: the tread profile is optimised at the tyre shoulder. This design makes it possible to distribute pressure evenly across the entire tread width. It helps to reduce rolling resistance, limit wear and extend the vehicle’s range.
- Quiet sipe design: the tyre adopts an advanced arrangement of offset grooves in the tread. This system maintains continuous, smooth contact at the sipe edges, which reduces rolling noise. It also provides a further reduction in noise disturbance.
