Intended for prestige saloons as well as SUVs, this design has been developed to deliver handling that is dynamic, comfortable and safe on dry or wet roads. Its well-balanced structure combines driving enjoyment, road holding at sustained speeds and an effective level of grip.
Its new-generation asymmetric tread pattern promotes water evacuation through the grooves located on the shoulder, while the central section contributes to stability at high speed. On the outside, finer grooves increase the rigidity of the whole and widen the contact patch, resulting in a better feel through bends and more precise steering.
The work carried out on acoustic comfort is based on the combination of central blocks, steel grooves and silent grooves, integrated into a tread designed to reduce noise disturbance. This configuration helps preserve a more relaxed drive, even when the pace increases.
The compound incorporating a solution-polymerised styrene-butadiene rubber as well as a silicon-based technology contributes to traction on wet roads, very low rolling resistance and the retention of control at high speed. The sidewall also adopts a chequered finish that reinforces the care given to the tyre’s appearance.
