The Nankang Cross Season AW-6 is an all-season tyre designed for high-performance city cars, sporty touring cars, crossovers and small SUVs, to ensure suitable driving all year round, whatever the weather conditions. 3PMSF (Three Peak Mountain Snow Flake) approved, it meets the performance requirements expected for driving in winter conditions.
Its tread combines 3D sipes, designed to increase block rigidity and improve control on snow-covered or icy roads, with summer-inspired shoulders to maintain stability and effective handling on dry surfaces. Wider than on the previous generation, the tread also helps deliver better control on snow and ice.
The central and longitudinal grooves are designed to help evacuate water and reduce the risk of aquaplaning, while a new rubber compound aims to enhance performance on wet roads. The multi-pitch block arrangement helps to reduce road noise, improving everyday acoustic comfort.
