The innovative design of the Bridgestone Blizzak Spike 3 incorporates new tungsten carbide studs with an aluminium body to optimise contact pressure on ice, thereby reducing road wear. Moreover, its new tread design with 35% more studs compared to its predecessor significantly improves ice performance.
Developed at Bridgestone's European Research and Development Centre in Italy, the Bridgestone Blizzak Spike 3 has been rigorously tested in the harshest winter conditions at the Vidsel Proving Ground in Sweden, near the Arctic Circle. This tyre, launching in the passenger car and SUV markets from June 2023, is certified with the 3PMSF marking and will be available in 35 sizes, from 15'' to 20''.
