Designed by Praxent, the Patheris PT7 strikes a good balance between robustness, low noise and adaptability, both on the road and for light off-road use. The work carried out on the tread pitch sequence reduces rolling noise and makes driving more comfortable, while preserving tyre longevity.
In wet conditions, its transverse grooves combined with channels and sipes help to improve grip, steering precision and water evacuation, in order to reduce the risk of slipping. The spacing between the grooves and sipes also helps to reduce the retention of stones and other debris in the tread.
The combination of half-sipes and half-grooves in a uniform pattern helps to widen the contact patch. This configuration therefore promotes road holding and stability on dry ground, including at higher speeds or in bends. Thanks to its symmetrical profile, stresses are distributed more evenly, which contributes to regular wear and a longer service life.
