Designed for the summer season, the Atlander XSport-86 is intended for passenger cars as well as SUVs with a sporty focus. Its asymmetric ribbed tread pattern, combined with a summer compound able to withstand heat, is suited to both dynamic driving and everyday use.
The combination of its ribs and summer rubber compound promotes strong grip on dry and wet roads. Its four longitudinal grooves evacuate water from the contact patch in order to limit the risk of aquaplaning. Thanks to well-distributed pressure across the tread, steering gains in precision and the vehicle remains more stable. Meanwhile, the shoulder blocks, arranged to increase the number of gripping edges, enhance cornering stability. This rubber compound, designed to last, also helps to significantly reduce braking distances while remaining effective at sustained speeds.
