The Solitude profile from Transmate is designed with a continuous rib central pattern and a 3D zigzag design for the grooves, offering enhanced stability at high speeds and optimised straight-line handling.
The semi-closed shoulder design helps reduce noise transmission from the central block, thus decreasing noise levels during driving. This also improves shoulder rigidity and cornering performance.
A geometric chamfering, combined with a cross-step pattern, ensures excellent wet grip and enhances the rigidity of the tread block. This limits initial abnormal wear and optimises handling and braking performance on dry surfaces.
Additionally, the design includes a 3D groove at the interface between the shoulder and the sidewall, which reduces air resistance and improves heat dissipation at the shoulder.
Finally, four wide longitudinal grooves, organised into 12 groups of uniformly distributed silencers around the circumference, break the sound waves generated by these grooves, contributing to a significant noise reduction.
