The Blizzak LM005 DriveGuard is a recently designed winter tyre, intended to deliver good performance on snow and wet roads. Studless, it is particularly suitable for mild to moderate winters found in many regions of Europe.
The tyre tread incorporates numerous 2D and 3D sipes, designed to optimise grip on the road and cut through layers of snow and ice. This design helps maintain maximum control and reduce braking distances on roads in winter conditions.
This tyre benefits from the European label class A for wet grip. Independent tests have confirmed its excellent performance on wet roads, notably thanks to Bridgestone’s NanoPro-Tech™ technology, which combines biting particles and a silica-based compound to optimise grip on wet roads.
These grooves improve grip and traction on snow. The Blizzak LM005 DriveGuard features deeper zigzag grooves, designed to efficiently evacuate water, slush and snow from the tread, providing extra grip on wet and snowy roads.
