Traction and braking on wet surfaces

Maintains perfect grip even on slippery roads thanks to its new polymer structure. Moreover, the rubber compound that includes silica, combined with grooves and enlarged blocks on both the tread and the shoulders, gives the CrossContact™ATR tyre good braking capacity on wet surfaces due to optimal water evacuation.

All-Terrain Traction

The new CrossContact™ATR benefits from an optimal ground contact area, resulting in an increase in terms of traction and grip on any surface. The grip is improved by the presence of truly gripping grooves and ribs and a very large number of sipes.

I spent a lot of time searching for tires that would be suitable even for off-road terrain, but still comfortable and quiet enough on asphalt. Good handling and grip on wet and dry roads were also a requirement. These tires are an excellent compromise and have also proven to be good in the snow, even though I did not expect that, as I have winter tires for snow. In short, if you are looking for a versatile tire, this is the right choice!
