The Gripmax SureGrip Pro IceX is a winter tyre for saloons and SUVs, engineered for severe winters. Its rubber compound, more pliable than that of the previous version, improves grip on icy surfaces. The tread pattern combines fine lateral grooves with zigzag longitudinal channels, enhancing traction and adhesion on snow and black ice. The asymmetric design distributes performance: the inner and central areas are optimised for deep or slushy snow, while the outer shoulder, made up of widened blocks, provides stability and grip on dry roads. The open shoulder blocks efficiently expel snow, mud or sand, and the high density of sipes multiplies biting edges for better control on ice and snow.
