Designed for winter, the Pirelli Scorpion Winter 3 is intended for SUVs. Its construction, like its tread pattern, takes into account the weight and load requirements specific to these vehicles, in order to provide safe, controlled and precise handling on winter roads, whether dry or wet.
In snowy conditions, it focuses on traction and braking efficiency. The increased tread rigidity also helps maintain strong performance on wet surfaces, while the patented “Snow Retention Teeth” technology enhances grip when the road is snow-covered.
Thanks to an optimised contact patch, braking and handling performance remain more consistent over time, with significant mileage potential. The Scorpion Winter 3 has also been designed to reduce external noise and thus improve driving comfort.
This range also includes sizes suited to electric, hybrid and plug-in hybrid SUVs. Some versions feature Pirelli Elect and Pirelli Noise Cancelling System technologies, developed respectively to meet the specific requirements of electrified vehicles and to enhance acoustic comfort.
