Rock 868S: High-Performance Winter Tyres
The Rock 868S tyre is specially designed to offer excellent resistance on snow and ice, thanks to an asymmetrical design optimised for winter conditions. The outer part of the tyre features a high saturation pattern that ensures exceptional handling, while the wide internal grooves allow for effective water evacuation, thus reducing the risk of skidding.
- Zigzag longitudinal grooves: This innovative design creates a gear-like effect between the tyre and the snow, thereby enhancing driving stability. The strategic arrangement of 3 to 4 wide longitudinal grooves allows for effective evacuation of water, mud, and snow, significantly improving the tyre's anti-skid performance.
- 3D steel sipes design: Inside, a dense distribution of steel sipes optimises traction and braking on snowy and icy roads. Outside, a lower density of sipes ensures exceptional handling.
- New silica formulation: Thanks to a new formula integrating silica, the tyre maintains its viscoelastic properties even at extreme temperatures ranging from -30°C to -40°C. This improves road grip, increasing the contact surface and the coefficient of friction between the tread and the ice, thus ensuring safer driving in winter conditions.
