General Tire is an American company founded in 1915. It's well-known in Europe for SUV/4X4 tyres, because the brand is represented at events such as the Dakar Rally. General Tire also produces tyres for passenger cars and utility vehicles. In 1987, the manufacturer was acquired by the Continental group.
